Prana Vayues: Using Breath to Balance Energy, Boundaries, and the Nervous System

Jordan introduces the Prana Vayus system used to evaluate how life force energy (prana) rides on the breath and how imbalances can be brought into balance. Using a half-filled cup as a visual aid, they explain the five values: apana (down and out, release and elimination), prana (in and up, what we consume through all senses), samana (digestion and assimilation of what’s taken in), udana (up and out, expression, supported by voice and mantra), and vyana (assimilation and understanding from inner to periphery).
